BROWN, Linda J. – of Flint, age 70, died Monday, April 29, 2019 at McLaren Select Specialty Hospital – Flint. Funeral services will be held 1PM Monday, May 6, 2019 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Carl Lindsey officiating. Cremation to follow. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 1PM until 8PM and Monday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM.
Linda was born October 10, 1948 in Flint, Michigan to Lester and Phyllis (Shumaker) Lindsey. She married Leslie J. Brown on July 27, 1968. He preceded her in death January 16, 2005. Linda retired from Meijer on Pierson Rd., in Flint after many years. She loved playing Bingo and was known for always attending at the Gordon R. Bennet VFW Post #1452 in Clio.
Surviving are: Son, Edwin Brown (Heavenly); Grandchildren: Kerrina, Randea, Justin, Jason, Dominique, Jacob, Angel, Jason P., and Charles; Siblings: James, Genevieve, and Carl. Linda was also preceded in death by her son, Anthony; Father, Lester; Sisters: Ruth Ann and Donna; Brother, John.
