OLIVO, Leo C. – Of Flint, age 85, died Sunday, June 16, 2024 at Wellbridge of Fenton.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Friday, June 21, 2024 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, MI,
Father Georges Bidzogo officiating.
Visitation 10am Friday at church until the time of the Mass.
Burial in St. Paul Cemetery in Owosso, MI.
Contributions may be made to the family.
Leo was born in San Antonio, Texas on January 10, 1939, the son of Juan and Mercedes (Correa) Olivo. On August 8, 1964, he married Carole Berryman in Flint, Michigan. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Leo retired from General Motors and he loved model trains.
Surviving are his wife, Carole;
daughter, Robin and husband Tom Abbott of Grand Blanc;
grandchildren, Tom Abbott and wife Jenny Abbott and baby Lucia, Angelica Abbott, Joe Abbott and wife Patricia and their children, James, Joey and Ted, Mary Abbott, Andrew Abbott, Jacqueline Abbott, Nicholas Abbott and Rose Abbott;
brother, Sixto Olivo;
sister, Connie Roche;
and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughters, Renee and Jackie Olivo and brothers, Jesse, Robert, John and Fransisco Olivo.
The family would like to thank the staff at Absolute Hospice and Wellbridge of Fenton for all of their care, support and compassion given to Leo and his family.
