SWEENEY, Joanne M. - Of Grand Blanc, age 58, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2015.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11am Monday, January 26, 2015
at Holy Family Church, 11824 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc,
Father Jonathan Perrotta officiating.
Cremation will take place following the Mass.
Visitation 2-8pm Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Sunday evening at the funeral home. Joanne will be at the church 10:30am Monday until the time of the Mass.
Joanne was born in Detroit on March 22, 1956. She worked as an accountant for GM for 34 years, and enjoyed escaping to a cottage on Houghton Lake on the weekends.
Joanne was the loving wife of Neal for 34 years. Joanne was the mother of Megan (Mark) Uberti and Kaitlin and proud grandmother of Anna. She was a dear sister to Jeanette (Jeffrey) Thompson and Lawrence (Kathleen) Clos and daughter of Elizabeth Clos.
She was preceded in death by her father Jerome Clos.
