Beal Mr. John L. age-92 passed away Saturday March 18, 2017 at Regency Healthcare-Whitmore Lake. Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday April 1, 2017 from the New Zion Missionary Baptist Church 1601 Chippewa St. Rev. Jacob Hawkins officiating. Interment Flint Memorial Park Cemetery G-9506 N. Dort Hwy. Mt. Morris, Mi. Family and friends will assemble at the church 11am for visitation. Mr. Beal will repose in the Chapel of the Martin J. Banks Funeral Home and may be viewed after 12noon Thursday until 6pm Friday.
Mr. John Lee Beal was born June 21, 1924 in Hinds County, Mississippi the son of John (Leola Wilcher) Beal.
He leaves to cherish his memory. Daughter Georgia (Henry) Johnson of Marino Valley, Ca. grandchildren Shovon (Richard) Jackson, Jr. and Michelle Russell, 3 great grandchildren, Brittany, Crenshaw, Rejai Valcinus, Tiffany and Brandi Russell, 3 great-great grandchildren, Olivia, Sculley, Le Jen Ross and Kai Davis 4 sisters, Katherine (William)Brooks, Gloria Plumpp all of Flint,Mi., Minnie (Joseph) Dixon of Arlington, Tx. And Helen Beal of Las Vegas, Nev., 6 nieces Theresa Plumpp, Katherine Lankoande and Diane Dixon, Linda Nichols and Darlene and Terence Touchstone 7 nephews, Joe Nathan, Glenn, Turner, Anthony Beal, John and Charles Dixon and Lee and Don Touchstone, sister-in-law Jessie Beal. A host of other relatives and friends including special cousin Wilma Bennett and God Daughter, Dora N. Jackson, special friends Willie Mize, Jr., Reggie Johnson, Jerry Luckado and Henry Lowe. He was preceded in death by his wife Della Beal, parents, brothers Joe and Napoleon Beal and brother in law, Cyrus Plumpp, Jr.
