POWELL, David W. – Of Grand Blanc, age 51, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Aaron Whitman officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
David was born in Flint, Michigan on January 3, 1964, the son of Raymond J. and Joyce A. (Schermerhorn) Powell.
On September 19, 1992 he married Sheryll Knapp in Swartz Creek.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.
Surviving are wife, Sheryll;
three children, Randy Jones and
Kara Powell, both of Grand Blanc,
Charlene and husband Christopher Rohlman of Burton;
parents, Raymond and Joyce Powell of Swartz Creek;
grandchildren, Raymond, Delicia, Craig, Christina and Wyatt,
Ricky, Derek and Zander;
one sister, Carolyn and husband Kevin Martin of Swartz Creek and their children, Leann and Dacoda;
brother, Kevin and wife Stephanie Powell of Swartz Creek and their children, Jake, Gavin and Hunter.
