MCGLASHEN, Dean Owen – of Davison, age 86, passed away November 24, 2015 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Chaplain Dave Gerber officiating. Burial will be in Stiles Cemetery, Lapeer. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Tuesday and 10-11 AM Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, Whaley Children’s Center or Outreach East.
Dean was born in Lapeer, Michigan on May 30, 1929, son of the late Lloyd and Grace (Beyer) McGlashen. He married Patricia Lamoreaux on June 26, 1954. Dean retired from the Buick Division of General Motors in 1989.
Dean is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Mark (Andrea) McGlashen and Matt McGlashen; grandchildren, Kevin (Lisa) McGlashen, Alex McGlashen and Kassie McGlashen; great-grandchild, Nolan McGlashen; brothers, Jack (Carol) McGlashen, Daryl McGlashen and Robert (Betty) McGlashen; sister, Anne (Robert) Petro. He was preceded in death by brothers, William (Catherine) McGlashen, Ted (Genevieve) McGlashen, Victor (Alice) McGlashen, Myles (Phyllis) McGlashen; sister, Vera (Olaf) Moore.
