MATSKO, Judith Rae (Diem)(Christenson)- age 73, of Fenton, died Wednesday, November 5, 2014. A memorial mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, November 10, 2014 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11084 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc with Fr. Jonathan Perrotta celebrant. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2-6 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan or the Alzheimer's Association. Judith was born April 30, 1941 in Flint, the daughter of Darrell D. and Catherine Leone (Gross) Diem. She was a 1960 graduate of St. John Vianney Catholic School. Judith married Charles Christenson on April 4, 1964 and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1986. She then married Richard Matsko on July 14, 1990 and he preceded her in death on December 13, 2000. Judith retired from Carmen Ainsworth School District in 2000 as a manager and head cook after 17 years of service. She enjoyed golf at Fenton Farms and playing cards. Judith was a member of Flint Archery Club for many years and a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Surviving are: 5 children, Chris (Robin) Christenson of Swartz Creek, David (Angie) Christenson of TX, Michael (Cindy) Christenson of Birch Run, Raeann Christenson of Swartz Creek, and Kim (Lewis) Harris of Montrose; 4 grandchildren, Andrea, Mike, Sidney, and Taylor; 2 great-grandchildren, Makenna and Aidin; sister, Daralee Rowan of Linden; 2 brothers, Darrell (Kathy) Diem of Madison, AL and David (Carol) Diem of Fenton; 2 sisters-in-law, Sue Diem and Julie Petiprin; several nieces and nephews.
