West, Charles of Flushing, age 70, died Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at Ascension-Genesys. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Flushing United Methodist Church. Pastor J.J. Mannschreck will officiate. There will be a gathering of family and friends 4-8 p.m. Friday at Rossell Funeral Home in Flushing.
Charles was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 9, 1949, the son of Charles Edward and Betty (King) West. On June 23, 1973, he married Marilyn Hahn. Chuck was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Amigo Sportsman Club. He enjoyed art and was a craftsman. Chuck loved working for many years as an Insurance Agent at Northwestern Mutual. He was a loving husband and wonderful father.
Chuck is survived by his wife Marilyn; daughters, Tara West, Megan and husband Shayne Cleveland; grandchildren, Garrett Garcia, Brenden Wellisley; brother, Dan West; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
