BENDALL, DON JAMES
Don James Bendall (74), born January 22nd 1950 to Irving and Virginia Bendall along with the best big sister, Judy (Gary) Slinkard, went to be with the Lord peacefully and surrounded by his family on November 15th 2024.
He met the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Kathy (Silsbee) Bendall, in eighth grade at Bendle Junior High. They married in 1969 and spent the next 55 years loving each other.
Don had two daughters, Kim (James) Ostrander and Michelle (Erick) Fair.
There was never a husband and father more proud of his girls. Then came the greatest joys of his life, his two grandchildren, Sophia and Tommy Ostrander. He loved his extended family and friends very dearly. He will be missed more than words but he is no longer “fair to midland” because he is happy and healthy with our Lord and Savior.
Memorial Visitation 2 p.m. and Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Westside Church, 5090 Pasadena Avenue, Flushing, Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating.
A luncheon will follow at the church following the service.
