STANFORD, Carolyn L. “Carol” – Of Burton, age 71, passed away, to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at home, with her family by her side.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Thurman Jones officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Carolyn was born in Flint, Michigan on September 20, 1940. She was a member of Central Nazarene Church in Flint. Carolyn went to cosmetology school and opened her own beauty shop.
Surviving are husband, Lee;
children, Greg, LeAnn and Layne;
daughter-in-law, Lisa;
10 grandchildren;
3 great-grandchildren;
sister, Kathy;
one sister-in-law;
2 nieces; one nephew; 4 cousins;
one uncle and 3 aunts.
She was preceded in death by father, Burlon Hackett; mother, Chris Hackett; brother, Duane Hackett; grandparents; 5 uncles and 5 aunts.
