YOUNG, Mildred D. “Millie” – of Clio, age 66, died Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Monday, November 7, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor John Southern officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-8PM and Monday from 12PM until the time of service at 1PM.
Millie was born October 11, 1950 in Flint, Michigan to Blass and Ada (Putman) Holland. She married William F. Young on August 22, 1986 in Clio. Millie loved shopping and was a collector of everything. She enjoyed camping and traveling. Millie had a true heart of gold and was always there to offer a helping hand, she never met a stranger. Above all, Millie loved spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving are: Loving husband, William Young; Children: Angie (Mike) Napora of Saginaw, Leesia (Larry) Smith of Kentucky, William (Akiko) Young Jr., of California, Lee Miller IV of Saginaw, and James Young of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren: Courtney, Kasey, Michael Jr., Kayla, Natasha, Miranda, Tyler, Kai, Steel, Briana, and RaeLee; 6 great grandchildren: Khloie, Karmyn, Lily, Connor, Isaac, and one on the way; Mother, Ada Holland; Loving furry companions: Bella and Chewy; Sisters: Judy Brown and Paulette (Larry) Freeman; Sister in law, Denise Holland; Many other loving family members and friends. Millie was preceded in death by her father, Blass Holland; Brother, Donald Holland; Sister, Kathy Mercier; Nephew, Ricky Webster; Longtime friend, Doris Connelly.
