WALTERS, Violet May “Vi” - Of Flint, age 84, died Saturday, August 15, 2015 at her residence.
Visitation only 5-8pm Tuesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or the National Association of the Deaf.
Violet was born in Flint on December 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Harry and Sadie Neely and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life. She was active in the Burton Senior Center and was a participant of Genesys PACE. Vi loved her family and playing bingo.
Surviving are children, Judy (Richard) Czekai, Loren (Kris) Sutherland, Larry (Beth) Sutherland, Michael (Christie) Sutherland, Deborah (Daniel) Ng, Sheena (Douglas) Jordan, Carla McFall, Kim (Joseph) Halbeck, Donald Walters Jr., and James Walters;
Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brother, Richard Neely and sister, Arbutus Ballard.
