WREN, Clarence – of Burton, age 84, went to be with the Lord, December 20, 2016 at Caretel Inns of Linden. A Funeral Service will be held 1 PM Monday, December 26, 2016 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Daniel Cocke officiating. A private burial will be held in Meadowview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of service on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Clarence was born in Cullman, AL on November 9, 1932, son of the late Luther and Birdie (Freeman) Wren. He married Kathleen Farr in August 1952 and she preceded him in death in 2013. Clarence was a member of Shawn Baptist Church. He worked at A/C Spark Plug, retiring in 1989.
Clarence is survived by his son, Rickie (Mary) Wren; daughter, Pamela (Rick) Long; grandchildren, Dawnelle Long, Rick Long II and Alan Wren; great-grandchildren, Shaley (Mike) Potes and Trisha Long; great-great-grandson, Michael Potes II; siblings, Conrad and Carol; special sister, Charlene Howard. He was preceded in death by sister, Clara Mae Headrick.
