WRIGHT, Billy - Of Port Orange, FL, formerly of Flint, age 74, died Friday, January 20, 2012 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Father Gary L. McInnis officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research.
Visitation 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Billy was born in Flint on January 30, 1937, son of the late Glen and Mattie Faye (Prithard) Wright. On July 9, 1956, he married Judy Russell in Flint. Billy retired from General Motors in 1987. He loved the Detroit Lions, cars and especially loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are wife, Judy;
children, Kim Suarez and husband Ed Polakis, Tammy Hill, Billy and significant other Todd Page, Allison Joslin, Michelle and husband Fred Speck;
grandchildren, Todd, Jennifer, Justin, Nick and Abigail;
great-granddaughter, Alyssa;
brother, Terry and wife Skip Wright.
