Ronald L. Sylvester
Age 79, of Owosso, passed away Thursday June 25, 2015 at home peacefully with family and friends by his side.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Tuesday June 30, 2015 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Michael O'Brien officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Monday from 4pm to 8pm with a rosary prayed at 7pm.
Ron was born January 2, 1936 in Flint, Michigan the very first baby born at St. Joseph Hospital, the son of Albert and Mary (Spiegel) Sylvester.
Ron worked at AC Spark Plug and retired from there after 36 years of service in skilled trades.
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and VFW. He served two years in the United States Army and was an avid fisherman and Red Wings fan.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife Nancy, his children Lynn, Jim, Dan (Shelly) and April (Kevin); grandchildren Randy and Kora; and niece Kristy.
