WHITE, Jeffery Miles - Age 54, of Flushing, died Friday, November 11, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 16 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Pastor Lawrence Gill officiating. Interment in Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-8 PM Tuesday, and 10 AM until the time of service on Wednesday. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Michigan Child ID Program.
Jeffery was born August 4, 1962 in Van Nuys, California, the son of Robert Leroy White Sr. and Marion Christene (Bristol) White. He was a graduate of Carman High School and Ferris State College. He married Chrissy Ruth Gould on August 28, 1982 in Flushing. Jeffery was an Engineering and Technology Laboratory Technician and Adjunct Professor at Baker College. He was a mentor and coach at Baker College F.I.R.S.T. HS Robotics Team #468. Jeffery was a member and past Master of the Flushing Masonic Lodge #223. He was very active with the Michigan Child ID Program.
Jeffery is survived by his wife, Chrissy Ruth White; sons, Alex and Zach; siblings, mother Marion White; Rusty (Dru) White and Amy White; nieces, Michel Linn and Stacey (Jon) Lyons; mother-in-law, Lois Ann Gould; sisters-in-law, Barbara (Keith) Staley and Deanna (Ron) Huber; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee White Sr.; father-in-law, Doyle Gould; brother-in-law, Rick Staley.
