BRUNEAU, Margaret Mary (Comina) – of Davison, age 95, passed away March 17, 2016 at her residence. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, March 21, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 N. Dayton St., Davison; Rev. Fr. Andrew Czajkowski celebrant. Burial will be in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1-4 & 6-8 PM at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. A Rosary will be prayed 6:30 PM on Sunday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the Mass on Monday at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Margaret was born in Baltic, MI on March 15, 1921, daughter of the late David and Mary (Suppelsa) Comina. She married Arthur J. Bruneau on November 30, 1940 and he preceded her in death on July 2, 2003 after 62 years of marriage. Margaret was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 50 and Over Club and Red Hat Society. She loved to cook, go shopping and travel. Most of all, she loved raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her children, Donna (Robert) Burrows and Ronald (Donna) Bruneau; grandchildren, Julie Griffith, Brian (Dana) Burrows, Danielle (Andrew) Kavc and Ryan (Katharine) Bruneau; nine great-grandchildren, Logan, Alexis and Hunter Griffith, Melissa McConnell, Kylee and Luke Burrows, Kyle Kavc, Megan and Cameron Bruneau; one great-great-grandson, Steven Griffith; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four siblings.
