MIDDLETON, Zelda Jean – of Burton, age 85, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at her residence. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Please, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society of Genesee County or American Diabetes Association.
Zelda was born in Glennie, MI on December 23, 1934, daughter of the late Levi and Emma (Pomerantz) Wallace. She married Ivan R. Middleton on October 24, 1953 and he preceded her in death on December 31, 2016. Zelda worked as a School Bus Driver for Grand Blanc for 24 years. She enjoyed traveling the country with Ivan in their fifth wheel and Zelda loved her winters in Mission, TX and summers in Oscoda, MI.
Zelda is survived by her children, Michael (Sue) Middleton and Larry Middleton; grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Justin) Robinson and Hannah (Eric) Mann; great-grandchildren, Eric Michael Mann, Bennett Mann, Charlotte Robinson and Reid Robinson; siblings, Reta Bridges, Durell (Pat) Wallace and Caroline (Buddy) Lane; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Robert Wallace, Marilyn Beckwith and Nancy Wakeman.
