HISCOCK, Clayton Earl – Of Gaines, age 94, died Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Louis Canaday officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
Contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church of Gaines.
Visitation 2-4pm and 6-8pm Tuesday and 10am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Clayton was born in Flint, Michigan on July 3, 1925, the son of the late James and Doris (Eckley) Hiscock. On July 27, 1946, he married Byrnece Baldwin in Gary, Indiana and she preceded him in death on November 10, 2016. Clayton served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from Auker Homes in 1993. Clayton was a life-long Ham Radio Operator (W8CNZ). Clayton was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church of Gaines.
Surviving are children, Paul (Betty) Hiscock, Diane (Phil) Mikkelson, Kathy (Dave) Wass and Teresa (Louis) Canaday;
13 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren;
and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Becky Lynn Hiscock.
