Bailey, Barbara "Audrey" - Age 84, of Flint, died November 22, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, November 26 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Interment in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Pastor Duane Sweet officiating. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Monday, and 10 AM until the time of service Tuesday. Those desiring may make contributions to the Genesee Independent Baptist Church.
She was born July 4, 1935 in Joppa, Alabama, the daughter of William Roie and Syvilla Essie Arolla (Hodnett) Parmer. She married Walter Ray Bailey on April 15, 1953. She was a longtime member of the Genesee Independent Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School and Children's Church for many years.
Surviving are: husband of 66 years Walter Ray Bailey; four children Barbara (Darian) Stepka of St. Joseph, MI; Judy (Jim) Bailey of Burton, Shirley (Kenny) Tufford of Clio, Jimmy (Ollie) Bailey of Lansing; 20 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three sisters. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
