NASSAR, Souheil - Of Grand Blanc, age 82, died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 10am Saturday, October 22, 2016 at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 Lennon Road, Flint,
The Very Reverend Father Joseph Abud officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. George Orthodox Church.
Visitation 4-8pm Friday at St. George Orthodox Church. A Trisagion Service will be held 7pm Friday evening at church. Visitation 9am Saturday at church until the time of the service.
Souheil was born in Palestine on September 11, 1934, the son of Farid and Houda (Hussary) Nassar. He married Laurette in Palestine in 1954.
Souheil was a member of St. George Orthodox Church and he enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing.
Surviving are wife, Laurette;
Children, Farid and wife Michelle, Houda and husband Basil Farah, Elizabeth and husband George Fanous and Basim and wife Lucy Nassar;
Grandchildren, Elias, Michael, Laurie, Jennifer, George, Stephen, Eddie, Souheill and Angel;
brother, Karam and wife Aida and Jamil and wife Victoria;
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Khader, Nassar, and Sammy Nassar and sisters, Siham Abu-Nimer and Souheila Zatoune.
