Norma Lou Gillett passed away early Thursday at home in Clio at the age of 92. She was born May 26, 1932, to the late Gifford Atlas Judd and Mary Alice Carroll Judd in Clio, MI. She married Richard William Gillett (Bill) on August 15, 1953, and he predeceased her in 1996. The Gillett's had three children, Richard Gillett (Rick), Randall Gillett (wife Roxanne), and Brian Gillett who passed away earlier this year. Norma is also survived by her brother Herbert Judd (wife Marsha), and several nieces and nephews. Norma's grandchildren are Cortne, David, Carrie, Ricky, Kelli, Jake, and Eric, and she has 10 great grandchildren. Norma chose to be a wife and homemaker, a member of Bethany Methodist Church, and she enjoyed bowling, gardening, working jigsaw puzzles, and feeding the birds. She was active for many years in the local VFW Auxiliary and was generous with her time and efforts in their activities. Per Norma's request, she has been cremated and there will be no public service. |
