BERGQUIST, Robert Van, Jr. – of Burton, MI, age 55, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, in Robert’s memory.
Robert was born in Bay City, MI on September 30, 1962, son of Robert and Nancy (Hein) Bergquist, Sr. Robert was a member of Operating Engineers Local 324. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and acting goofy, fishing, drawing, watching sports and playing video games, strategy games and fantasy football. He loved his coffee and sweets. Robert was always helping people and his message to the world is “love each other”.
Robert is survived by significant other Kim; 4 children, Duane (Kelley), Aaron (Tiffany), Lindsay and Nate; 6 grandchildren, Harmony, Lillian, Aaron Jr., Logan, Nolan and Maeci Rae. Robert is also survived by his father Robert Sr.; mother Nancy; 4 siblings, Scott, Dawn, Kyle and Laura; many other loving family members and friends.
