VANDERPORT, Mary – Of Fenton, age 94, died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at her residence.
A graveside service will be held 1pm Tuesday May 8, 2018 at Mikado Cemetery.
Pastor Melvin McGuire officiating.
Burial in Mikado Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8pm Monday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Mary was born in Harrisville, Michigan on April 5, 1924. Mary married Frank Vanderport on January 8, 1951 and he preceded her in death.
Mary was devoted to her family, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving are children, Gerald (Norma), Jacqueline Blunt and Thomas (Josephine);
grandchildren, Kathy (Dale), Theresa, Spencer (Rykel), Taylor and Derek;
and many great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Harold and Earl and sister, Maxine.
