Barks, Verneice “Bunny” – of Clio, age 86, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 12PM on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, from 4PM until 8PM at the funeral home and on Wednesday from 11AM until the time of service.



Bunny was born August 13, 1937, in Mt. Morris, Michigan, to her loving parents, Lawrence and Verneice (Jones) Morey. She spent most of her life in the Flint and Clio area. Bunny will be remembered for the immense love she shared with her family, her passion for travel, camping, quilting, baking, and her love for reading. Her nurturing spirit and boundless love as a mother, grandmother “Amma”, and great grandmother were the cornerstones of her family. Throughout her career, she showcased her impeccable sense of style as a manager of women's fashion stores, later transitioning seamlessly into a talented master florist, earning awards for her stunning arrangements that brought joy and beauty to countless homes. Bunny was the heart and soul of her family, always radiating kindness and beauty wherever she went. Though Bunny's physical presence may be missed, her love and light will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to have known her.



Surviving are: Three daughters: Debra (Dennis) Howell, Cindy (Phillip) Peraino, and Lisa (Stephen) Culp; Grandchildren: Michael (Amy) Peraino, Joshua (Kori) Howell, Mark Peraino, Jennifer (James) Morgan ,Adam Culp, Nicholas (Javier) Howell, and Aileen (Todd) Kukulis; Great Grandchildren: Jillian Peraino, Kaitlynn Peraino, Alexis Peraino, Korissa Howell, Kenzie Howell, Hayden Howell, Mikayla Peraino, Addison Morgan, Savannah Morgan, Kloee Culp, Kendra Culp, Devin Culp, Keegan Culp, Brielle Culp, Brooklynn Kukulis, and Madelynn Kukulis Best friend and sister, Judy Morse; Sister-In-Laws, Norma Morey, and Janet Morey; Several nieces and nephews. Also, a special mention to her dear friend, Lillian Kellum. She is preceded in death by her parents, Siblings: William Morey, Donna (Warren) Tucker, Lawrence Morey, and Sherry (Jackson); Brother-In-Law, Carl Morse.
