Peggie J. Kirchner, age 87, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Peggie was born on October 8, 1928 in Rankin, MI to parents Charlie and Blanche (Hubble) Sargent. She enjoyed many things like crocheting afghans and knitting slippers for her family, reading, dancing, listening to music, and playing cards. She worked as a receptionist for many years at the Flint Children’s Center. Peggie was also a long time member of Iota Lambda Chapter, Pi Omicron National Sorority. Peggie will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kathie (Stan) Lowery; former son-in-law, Ken Bebb; grandchildren: Michael (Whitney) Bebb, Matthew Bebb, Sarah Jerman, and Jacob Lowery; great grandchildren: Zachary Bebb, Gavin Bebb, Quinn Bebb, Ava Jerman; sister, Barbara McCormick; brother and sister-in-law, Jerald and Beverly Beebe; nieces and nephew: Cheryl (Arnold) Berry, Chuck McCormick, and Yvonne (Terry) Vonwinkle; several other nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kirchner; son, Kevin Kirchner; daughter, Kim Kirchner; sister, Thelma Tahash; brother, John Sargent. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution to the American Cancer Society, the ASPCA, or a charity of your choice. As were her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc.
