HAMO, Joseph R. - Age 66, of Grand Blanc, died June 9, 2017 at his home. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Monday, June 12, 2017 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Rd. Burton. Fr. Steve Anderson celebrant. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Sunday June 11 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint with a 7 PM Vigil service. Those desiring may make contributions to American Liver Foundation or American Autism Foundation. Joseph was born June 25, 1950 in Masontown, PA the son of Harry Francis Hamo and Margaret Cecilia (Raubaugh) Hamo. He married Janet K. Wisniewski in Flint on August 3, 1974. Joseph was a graduate of the University Of Michigan earning a B.S. and a B.A. Degree. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ferris State University with a degree in Pharmacy. Joseph was a board certified planner (CFP), who worked with his son, Joe managing the Hamo Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and a fourth degree knight in the Knights of Columbus. Joseph loved to golf and spend time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years Janet; three children, Joseph M. (Meredith) Hamo, Tera Hamo Anderson, Vincent R. (Melissa) Hamo; grandchildren, Alixandra and Trevor Anderson, Gabriella and Gianna Hamo, Brenden, Bella, Masen, Vincent, Joey and Blair Hamo; younger brother, Attorney George and Laura (Favaro) Hamo; several nieces and nephews.
