DAOUST, Brian L. – Of Flint, age 50, died Tuesday, February 28, 2017, after fighting many months with Pancreatic Cancer at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak and his sister, Barb’s house, watching the birds. Doctors were amazed at his battle.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Anthony Poma officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Brian was born in Flint, Michigan on January 31, 1967, the son of Joyce and Herbert Daoust.
Brian was employed at American Axle, where he created his own dyes.
Brian had an amazing group of friends that he called Superfriendz.
Surviving are mother, Joyce Daoust;
children, Andrew, Matthew and Lindsey;
step-son, Jeffrey;
sisters, Cheryl Morse, Maria Scott, Sandi (Daniel) Shafer, Dianna (Dennis) Harless and Barbara (Arnie) Kottmann;
brothers, John Morse, Daniel (Pam) Daoust, Mike (Carol) Morse and Mike Daoust;
two aunts, Marilyn Thelien and Millie Kilburn;
lots of nieces, nephews and cousins;
special dog, Kado now lives with his special niece, Alicia;
special helpers, Christina and husband Jason and Kelley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert E. Daoust and sister, Jean Neithercut.
