URLAUB, Catherine S. (Esia) – Of Flint, age 90, died Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Regency at Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Richard Sayad officiating.
Burial in Assyrian Cemetery in Flint.
Visitation 10 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Those desiring may make contributions to the Assyrian Cemetery.
Catherine was born in Flint, MI on October 10, 1923, daughter of Jerry and Nancy (Warda) Esia.
Mrs. Urlaub was employed by GM. She also had her real estate license and was a beautician.
Catherine played softball when she was younger, enjoyed hunting, ethnic baking and did private catering.
Surviving are sister, Beatrice Haines;
brother, Nate (Geri) Esio;
cousins, Mary Solomon and family and Helen Yonan;
very special niece, Monna Rae(Jerry) Hill;
many nieces, nephews, friends, Judy LeBeau, Dorothy Beck and family;

She was preceded in death by husband, Anton; parents, Jerry and Nancy Esia; brother, David; sister-in-law, Marjorie; brother-in-law, John L. Haines.
