RUMMINGER, Carol A. – Of Grand Blanc, age 70, died Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 11804 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc,
Monsignor Jerry Vincke officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of one's choice.
Visitation 9:30 a.m. Thursday at church until the time of the Funeral Mass.
Carol was born in Providence, Rhode Island on July 1, 1945, the daughter of Albert and Josephine (Saccoccio) Cataldi.
On April 26, 1969 she married William Rumminger in Cranston, Rhode Island.
She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
She enjoyed golfing, going to the beach, traveling and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Mrs. Rumminger retired from Genesee Intermediate School District in 2008.
Surviving are husband, William “Bill”;
sons, William “Jason” and wife Heidi,
Chad and wife Melissa;
grandchildren, Will, Ava, Charlie, Claire, Eloise and Kate;
brother, Albert and wife Carole of Smithville, Rhode Island;
sister, Alberta and husband Frank of Lancaster, Pennsylvania;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Rosemary.
