LUXTON, Eugene Ernest (Gene) - Of Burton, age 89, died Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 11am Saturday, November 19, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Burial in Richland Cemetery in Prescott, Michigan.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family or a charity of one’s choice.
Visitation 12 Noon-8pm Friday at the funeral home.
Eugene was born on December 7, 1926. He married Betty Thomas on October 21, 1950 in Prescott, Michigan and she preceded him in death on May 31, 2002. Eugene was a Veteran of the United States Army and a General Motors retiree. He enjoyed model airplanes, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Eugene leaves to cherish his memory, four children, Marcia (Bud) Tubbs, Linda (Bruce) Stokes, Keith (Angie), and Eugene (Kelly);
11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren;
and his best friend, Harry Simmon.
Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Betty and three infant children.
