Carolyn was born May 13th, 1942, in Flint, MI, the daughter of Victoria Helen Grudzinski and Richard Girard Pyne. She was raised in the early part
of her life by her doting grandparents, Mary and John Pyne, and loving
aunt, Bernice Rosekrans. She and Gary G. Fisher began their married
lives, and started their family in 1964, on the Eastside of Flint,
Michigan. She was a proud Flint Central Indian, and loyal fan of THE
ORIGINAL Angelos Coney Island. In her life she wore many hats. She
worked for Flint General Hospital and Daly Answering Service. She
spent many great years at Gransden-Hall as an office administrator.
She was lunch lady, designated driver, sports team chauffeur, her
daughter-in-law’s art salesperson, her son’s receptionist, marketer,
and recruiter.'Ma' or 'Mombo' or 'Mrs. Fish' to countless friends of
her kids as they were growing up, she was one of the most kind,
loving, caring, sweet, and downright fun people to be with. She was
an unrivaled confidant, and good listener. No problem was too big,
no challenge was too steep, no transgression too terrible that they
couldn't be dealt with, overcome, or forgiven. She was always
there, without exception, without fail. She was selfless and kind in
a way that is an example of what we should aspire to be. For those
of us who were in her life, we knew we were deeply loved, and we
knew that she was confident in our love for her.
Her devoted family, left to cherish her memory are, Gary G. Fisher,
husband, Gary (Tracy) Fisher, Vickie (Joseph) Johnson, precious
grandson, Luke, her furry grandkids, Emma, Quincy, and Tiger, her
Uncle Danny, Uncle Allie, cousins Janet and Barbara, and too many
friends to count. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends
may share a memory with the family online at
