ARMBRUSTER, Adam – of Englewood, FL, formerly of Flint, MI, age 91, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Tidewell Hospice in Venice, FL. A Funeral Service will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423, Pastor Susan Lidums officiating. Interment Sunset Hills Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 12:30-1:30 PM Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the funeral home.
Adam was born in Twining, MI on August 14, 1925, son of the late John and Elizabeth Armbruster. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1946-1947. Adam was employed with Fisher Body #1, retiring in 1977 after 30 years of service. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Englewood, FL.
Mr. Armbruster is survived by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn (Klett); son, Raymond Armbruster; sister, Paula Pelosi; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Henry, Johnny and Adolf; 5 sisters, Helen, Elsie, Katie, Irene and Marie.
