STARKEY, Debbie – of Flint, age 58, passed away May 15, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Liturgy will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Red Cross, Genesee-Lapeer Chapter.
Debbie was born in Flint on April 10, 1953, the daughter of William and Mary (Konoski) Schmidt. She retired from Genesee County where she worked in the Office of the Treasurer.
Debbie is survived by her daughter, Erica; granddaughter, Onyah; father, William; siblings, Dawn (Alan) DeBuck, Donald Schmidt and Benny (Amy) Schmidt; nieces and nephews, Michelle and Kevin DeBuck, Diane (Greg) Mischel; Mynette and August Voakes. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; brother, Billy Schmidt and sister, Zoe Ann Schmidt.
