RUSSELL, PAMELA L. – Of Flint, age 59, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2024.
Funeral service will be held 12pm Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Visitation 11am Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the family.
Pamela was born in Flint, Michigan on October 28, 1964, the daughter of Calvin and Betty (Retherford) Ijames. On September 19, 1987 she married Michael Russell. When Pamela was growing up she attended Emmanuel Baptist Church. She loved camping especially in Young State Park. Pamela also loved watching the Detroit Tigers, crafting and her golden retrievers. Above all else, Pamela loved spending time with her family especially her grandson, Cameryn.
Surviving are husband, Mike;
Son, Colton and wife Daytona;
Grandson Cameryn;
Sister, Sally (Phil) Magsig;
Brother, Dennis (Kathy) Ijames;
Mother-in-law, Ardith Russell;
Sister-in-law, Lisa Maley;
And several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by baby daughter, Jessica.
