STEWART, James D. – age 80 passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 in Fairgrove, Michigan. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2 PM with one hour visitation prior to at Hill Funeral Home – 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc, MI 48439. James served his country in the United States Marine Corps for four years. James worked for General Motors as the supervisor of personnel in the V8 engine plant for over 32 years. He spent many moments enjoying the beautiful outdoors. He loved to hunt especially ducks and deer. James loved everything about the water; its simplicity and beauty. James is survived by his wife: Geralynn (Brownlee) Stewart; son: Jeff (Kim) Stewart; sister: Rosemary (Phil) Little; stepchildren: Scott (Julia) Powers, Darcy Kierzek Powers, Cherilyn Cornell-Powers; grandchildren: Jonathan Stewart and Christopher Stewart; step grandchildren: Nikki, Jared, Hannah, Mallory, Dustin, Dirk, Avari, Aidan; step great-grandchildren: Lilah and Weston.
