ISAAC, Fauzi - Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, age 82, of Tampa, FL, formerly of Flint, died Monday, April 11, 2016. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Grand Blanc Township, from 2-4 and 6-8 PM where a Trisagion service will be held at 7 PM officiated by the Very Reverend Joseph Abud. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, April 15, 2016, at St. George Orthodox Church, 5191 W. Lennon Road in Flint with burial following at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Flint. Contributions may be made to St. George Orthodox Church.
Fauzi was born June 18, 1933 in Jordan, the son of Elias and Wadeeha Isaac. He married Hanneh Isaac on October 12, 1959 in Palestine. He had been employed by GM Chevrolet before owning and operating several grocery and liquor stores in Flint, the last being Markos Market on Lippincott Blvd. Fauzi was a member of St. George Orthodox Church.
Surviving are: his wife, Hanneh; 5 children, Kathy Sahoury and husband Marwan of Tampa, FL, Sonia Isaac of Tampa, FL, Lewis Isaac and wife Robyn of Gaines, Julie Isaac and husband Britt Sadler of Austin, TX, and Matthew Isaac and wife Adrienne of Indianapolis, IN; 6 grandchildren; sister, Widad Salomon and husband John of Flushing; 3 sisters, and several nieces and nephews.
