AICHNER, Paula W. – Of Grand Blanc, age 80, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at Genesys Convalescent Center.
Funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Jim Combs officiating.
Burial in Oakwood Cemetery in Fenton.
Visitation 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Paula was born in Munich, Germany on September 24, 1933. She came to the United States in 1956 and Paula was proud that she earned her United States Citizenship and was a resident of Grand Blanc.
On October 27, 1956 she married John Aichner in Birch Run and he preceded her in death on April 21, 2001.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren; camping with her family, treating everybody out for dinner and shopping.
Mrs. Aichner was owner/operator of Grand Blanc Cable & TV Company and J.A. Leasing Company.
Surviving are son, John (Wendy);
grandchild, Brandon (Kelsi) Fahr, Alyssa Aichner and Kaylie Aichner;
great-grandchildren, Logan Fahr;
niece, Nanette Merchand;
and also survived by many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Monica; sister-in-law, Helen and husband Danny Jekel; brother-in-law, Eric and wife Sharon Aichner.
