ZIKE, Jane - Of Flint, age 92, died Monday, April 9, 2012 at Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth.
Celebration of Life will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Central Church of the Nazarene, G1261 West Bristol Road, Flint,
Pastor Glenn Gardner officiating.
Private burial will take place prior to the service at New Bay Port Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Salvation Army.
Visitation 5-8 pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Jane was born in Bayport, Michigan on June 29, 1919. On June 13, 1942, she married Keith Zike in Bay Port, Michigan. Jane retired as a teacher from the Flint area.
Surviving are son Jim and wife Debbie of Rochester Hills;
daughter, Linda and husband Ross Howard of Frankenmuth;
grandchildren, Kristi Zike Logan and husband Stewart, Erin Zike Studenka and husband Mark, Angela Howard Wendelberger and husband Dave, Sarah Profeta and husband Chris and their two children Polly and Zoe, Tom Howard, Margaret Howard, Leslie and Joe Yerke and their children Ella and Mia and Todd and Sarah Miesch and their children Greyson and Harper.
