YAMBRICK, Marjorie Irene – Of Flushing, age 88, died Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Brian's House of Davison.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at St. Robert Catholic Church 310 North Cherry Street, Flushing, Father Roy Horning officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to Brian's House of Davison.
Visitation 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road. A Rosary will be prayed at 7p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Yambrick will be at the church 12 p.m. Monday until the time of the Mass.
Marjorie was born in Flint, Michigan on October 13, 1923, the daughter of the late Charles and Myrtle Williams and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life.
Marjorie married William John Yambrick on November 3, 1945 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Flint.
Marjorie was a devoted member of St. Robert Catholic Church.
She enjoyed bowling, gardening, bird watching, flowers and volunteered at Brian's House.
Surviving are 7 children, Joseph of Winter Haven, Florida,
Mary and husband Joel Burgess of Camby, Indiana,
Margaret Matthews of Fenton,
Michael and wife Jill of Auburn,
Christine and husband Reverend Robert Lockhart of South Hill, Virginia,
Frank of Flint,
Ellen and husband Ken Terry of Williamsburg, Michigan;
19 grandchildren;
11 great-grandchildren;
sister, Betty George of Gladwin;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William; four sons, William II, Alexander, Paul and Charles and daughter-in-law, Diana.
