BURK, Marvin Lyle – Of Davison, age 69, died peacefully on Saturday, April 28, 2018.
Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Flint Elks Club Lodge #222, 7177 East Maple Avenue, Grand Blanc,Pastor Mick Ruck officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for his grandchildren’s college fund or Powers Hockey Team.
Visitation 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 11, 2018 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Visitation 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the Flint Elks Club.
Marvin was born in Howell, Michigan, on February 14, 1949.
He was a longtime member of the Flint Elks Club Lodge #222, Hoop Shoot through the Elks and worked extensively with the Buick Open and helped with the Powers Hockey Team in memory of his son, Brian.
Mr. Burk was employed by Allstate Insurance as salesman for his entire career.
Surviving are daughter, Kimberly Ann Payer;
grandchildren, Grant Payer and Ashlyn Payer;
brother, Gary Burk.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brian Burk.
