Kathy Sue Sparks (Coburn), 62, passed away July 11th, 2015, at McLaren Hospital in Lansing surrounded by her family.
A memorial service will be held at Colonial Hills Baptist Church, 5375 W Mt. Morris Rd., Mt. Morris, MI 48458, on July 17th, 2015 at 1:00 pm.
Kathy was born November 18th, 1952, to Jerry and Irene (Hirschenberger) Coburn. She attended high school at Carman and graduated in 1970. She attended Mott Community College and worked in Medical Billing for many years. Kathy loved music, concerts, beaches and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Kathy was preceded in death by her daughter, Sarah Sparks, and her father, Jerry Coburn.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Irene Coburn of Flint; brother Michael Coburn of Flint; her brother Jerry Thomas (Denise) Coburn of Cumins, MI; daughter Amy Chrisner of Dexter, MI; her son Aaron (Danielle) Sparks of Grand Blanc, MI; her son Adam (Jessica) Sparks of Mt. Morris, MI; her eight grandchildren Peyton, Paige, Lance, Ty, Landon, Natalie, Mallory and Zachary; her numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends Debbie Newman Genovese and Susan Wirsing Cummings.
Kathy’s ashes will be buried with her daughter, Sarah, in a private ceremony at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc, MI. |
