MOORE, LaFerne – of Clio, age 87, died Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at her home. Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 PM Friday, February 22, 2019 at West Vienna United Methodist Church. Pastor Billie Lou Gillespie officiating. Burial in West Vienna Cemetery. The family will receive visitors on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 10:00 Am until time of service at 12:00 PM at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the West Vienna United Methodist Church.
LaFerne was born July 18, 1931 in Kennett, Missouri to the late Archie and Mary (Killian) Limbaugh. She grew up in Kennett, Missouri and attended school there. On January 24, 1948 she married Carl H. Moore and he preceded her in death on October 31, 1999. Prior to her retirement she worked for Sarah’s Dress Shop as a Sales Clerk. LaFerne was a member of the West Vienna United Methodist Church. She enjoyed her flower gardens, cooking, baking, and riding motorcycles with her husband. However, spending time with her family and grandchildren was her greatest joy in life. The family would like to give a special “Thank You” to McLaren Hospice and her church family.
