LACEY, Marguerite - Of Burton, age 89, died Friday, March 25, 2016 at her residence.
Visitation 2-8pm Sunday and 9am Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be held 10am Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Mr. Gary E. Turner officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to Michigan Christian Youth Camp.
Marguerite was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas on July 22, 1926, the daughter of the late Elmer and Katie Nicholson. Marguerite married Clyde Lacey on September 12, 1946 in Flint. She was a member of Bristol Road Church of Christ. Marguerite was a Sunday School Teacher, volunteered for the church, elementary school and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are husband of 70 years, Clyde;
6 children, Linda and husband Frank McClain of Swartz Creek, Kathy Conley of Burton, Barbara and husband Jimmy Dunn of Columbia Tennessee, Rich Lacey of Swartz Creek, Jennifer and husband Kevin Myott of Swartz Creek, Ben Lacey of Flint;
8 grandchildren, Amanda, Melissa, Trevor, Daniel, Savanna, Kayla, Chase and Reece;
brother, Ken and wife June Nicholson of Vermont and sister, Delores and husband Bill Adkisson of Flint.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Madge Hendrickson.
