Michael Patrick Burnash Sr, age 85, of Flint, MI, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he participated as a paratrooper. Service will be held at the Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 Belford Rd, Holly MI 48442 on Thursday June 20, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
Michael was born on September 8, 1938, in Flint, the son of the late Maxim and Agnes Burnash. He retired from the Operating Engineers after many years of service. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle and he will be missed by many.
Michael was an adventurer who enjoyed traveling, scuba diving and most remember him for singing and playing his guitar. Michael is preceded in death by his beloved wife Faye. He is survived by his children; Michael Burnash Jr., Vickie (David) MacKenzie, Mark (Maria) Burnash, Michele Thompson, Matthew Burnash, and Mitchell Burnash. Grandchildren Mark Burnash, Carrie (Lance) Jacobs, Joseph Jacobs, Christopher Burnash, Nicholas (Mollee) Burnash, Michael (Carly) Burnash, Ashlee (Brian) Moss, Benjamin Burnash. Great Grandchildren Cecelia Burnash and Ryan Burnash, He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. |
