Douglas Ernest Bohl (Doug), 63, Flushing, MI sadly passed away on Friday at 10am due to heart failure.
Doug was born on December 22, 1961 to Ernest and Helen Bohl (Kimsel). He grew up in Flushing Michigan, then moved to Flint Michigan to start a family with his late wife Crystal and their son, Kevin. In 2003 his granddaughter, Abby, was born, whom he loved dearly and took care of her to the best of his ability. He then moved back to Flushing, Michigan in 2024.
Doug was young at heart but very wise. He had a big personality and he loved to talk. He was also a great listener. He was an awesome musician. He loved to play his electric and acoustic guitars in his band and with his friend whom he considered his family. He was a loyal son, father, grandfather, friend and neighbor to all who found a special place in his heart. He will be deeply missed.
Doug was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Bohl (1964)
His wife, Crystal Bohl (Fitzgerald) (4/29/2007), his sister, Jeanne Bohl-Smith (12/17/1958-8/2/2017) and his mother Helen Bohl (Kimsel) (12/30/1938-10/19/2020)
He is survived by his son, Kevin Fitzgerald, his granddaughter Abigail Longton and many friends.
