Claire L. Jones, age 86, of Holly, died Tues. May 1, 2018. She was born on Oct. 6, 1931 to William and Mandy (Ostrander) McCarney. She was retired from the GM Ternstedt Division. She loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, tending her flowers and garage sales. She is survived by 4 children, Ronna Hayward of Lansing, Gerald (Kelly) Dodd of Thompsonville, Linda Giles of Clio, and Sheila (Don) Young of Fenton; step-daughter Elaine Wines of Howell; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands Irving Dodd and John Jones, and brother Clare Durance. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wed. May 9, 2018 at Lakeside Cemetery, Holly with Deacon Frank Wines officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. www.dryerfuneralhomeholly.com |
