Marjorie Bell Shears- age 93 of Farwell, formerly of Burton, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2015. Marjorie was born Marjorie Bell Lemcool to parents Charles S. and Ethel Elizabeth (Cook) Lemcool, in Traverse City, Michigan. She was an accomplished seamstress, making most of her own clothing as well as her husband's clothing. She and Jim enjoyed attending craft shows, and they were accomplished wood crafters constructing children's toys. She loved making hand crafted holiday gifts for family and friends. In her earlier years she worked in many capacities for Flint Community Schools. She was a "Red Hatter “and a Methodist Church member. She was preceded in death by her husband James after 67 years of marriage, her companion K.C. Gaulstrandt after 10 years, numerous nieces and nephews, three grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and very special daughter Donna Stewart and husband Rick of Arkansas. A celebration of her life will take place on Monday, July 13th at 2PM. Friends may visit at Campbell-Stocking Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Farwell from 11am until 2PM until the time of service. Roy Blanchard will officiate. She will be laid to rest in Flint Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please consider donations in Marjorie's name to Woodland Hospice.
