BELILL, Edward F. – Of Florida, age 99, died Monday, December 31, 2012 at American House of Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2013
at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Cerebral Palsy Foundation.
Visitation 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Belill was born in Montrose, Michigan on February 15, 1913,
son of William and Agnes Belill and was a resident of Flint most of his life.
On June 18, 1938 he married the love of his life, Genevieve Miller and she preceded him in death on August 14, 2004.
He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Mr. Belill retired from Fisher I in 1971, after 40 years of service.
He was a participant in the Sitdown Strike of 1936-37.
Surviving are two daughters, Diane and husband Arnold Bishoff of Grand Blanc and
Elaine Morgan of Flint;
two sons, Edward W. and wife Betty Belill,
Michael J. Belill, all of Flint;
six grandchildren,
seven great-grandchildren; cousin, Emerson and wife Donna Belill.
