ZIEMBO, Robert “Bob” Henry – of Davison, MI, age 91, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service and inurnment in Davison Cemetery will be held on a later date.
Bob was born in Detroit, MI on November 2, 1932, son of the late Tony and Genevieve (Steinhaus) Ziembo. He was a devoted husband to Jurell Iva Badour, whom he married on July 2, 1955. Bob, affectionately known as the “Last Honest Car Salesman” was a man of many passions, embracing life with enthusiasm. His love for snowmobiling, camping, and hunting was matched only by his deep appreciation for history. His fondest memories were created on trips out West, where he enjoyed camping and hunting adventures with family and friends. Bob’s warmth, honesty, and zest for life touched everyone he met. He will be remembered not just for his skills as a salesman, but for his genuine spirit and the joy he brought to those around him.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Jurell Iva Ziembo; 4 children, Kenneth (Linda) Ziembo, Daniel (Elizabeth) Ziembo, Robert (Laura) Ziembo and Allan (Lora) Ziembo; 11 grandchildren, Kelly (Larry) Schmitt, Erin (Jason) Galba, Lindsay (Brady) Christopher, Matthew Ziembo, Elisabeth (Jon) Clark, Ana (Brian) Bates, Nicholas (DeeDee) Ziembo, Amanda (Joey) Tucker, Zachary (Justine) Ziembo, Jamie (Dave) Mears and Christeena (Schad) Sherman; 19 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Genevieve Ziembo.
